We are an English medium school which emphasizes on spoken English. We believe that our students should have an all round education and hence emphasis is placed on literary, sports and extra-curricular activities. We encourage our students to participate in literary competitions.
1. All pupils must attend the School assembly punctually, listen respectfully and
assimilate the morning formative talk. They must come to school neat and tidy in the prescribed uniform.
2. Pupils who come late will be admitted in
the class only after obtaining the permission of the Principal
in the late attendance record of the school diary.
3. It is compulsory for every pupil to come
to school in full uniform.
4. Pupils are expected to keep the classrooms
and school premises absolutely clean.
5. Pupils are strictly forbidden from
scribbling on the wall, furniture or any part of the
school premises. Pupils will be fined
for damage to any school property to make good the loss. Besides they will also be subjected to
disciplinary action depending upon the nature of loss or damage.
6. Discipline is a vital element in
contriving the character of pupils. Pupils at all times should show respect and
deference to the teaching staff. They
should be gentle and polite to their companions.
7. Pupils should not be seen loitering
anywhere unnecessarily during class hours. If pupils have to march out of the class room,
it must be done in silence and in order.
8. The School diary
serves as a link between teachers and parents. Parents are entreated to look into the pupils
diaries and ascertain that the lessons and assignments are done by the pupils.
9. Pupils should bring the school diaries to
school daily without fail.
10. Pupils are not entitled to meet parents or
visitors or to leave the school premises during school hours without the
permission of the Principal. Likewise, no parent or
visitor is allowed to meet a pupil during school hours without the permission
of the Principal.
11. Pupils should themselves be responsible for
their own books, pens, Tiffin-carriers and other
articles which they bring to school. Pupils are advised not to bring costly things / risky objects to school.
12. Pupils found to be with narcotics and any
other harmful products will be suspended and enquiry will be conducted followed
by reporting to the concerned authorities.
13. Pupils should not leave personal
belongings in the class room after school hours. The school does not take responsibility for
money or articles that are lost.
14. The Principal has
every right to suspend or dismiss a pupil for irregular attendance, habitual
idleness, neglect of home work, act of stealing,
infringement of the school rules, disobedience and insolence towards teachers
and members of the staff. Any pupil
suspected of any immodest behavior will be subjected to dismissal.
15. All correspondence addressed to pupils at
school is subject to scrutiny.
16. Parents are requested to sign and return the
Progress Report of their wards to the school promptly. They are also requested to examine the report
carefully and pay proper attention to do the needful to better their studies.
17. No pupil may absent himself / herself from
school without obtaining prior permission from the Principal. If leave is taken under unforeseen conditions
like illness etc., leave letter must be submitted to the Principal. For absence of more than three consecutive
days, a medical certificate must be produced.
18. Whenever a pupil, using the school bus, is
taken home by private transport the Principal must be
informed.
19. Transfer Certificate will be issued to the
pupils failing for two years in succession. The Principal’s right to grant a transfer
certificate cannot be questioned.
20. Parents / Guardians are requested to
co-operate with the authorities of the school in enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline. Parents who seek information and clarification about the education of
their children should do so from the Principal and not
from the class teacher. All
correspondence to parents from school should go through the Principal.
21. Parents-Teachers
meeting will be held periodically. Parents are requested to attend such meetings which would be of immense
help to know the progress of their pupils. Provision has been made for the parents to meet the teachers of their
wards, on all working days, immediately after the closing bell of the afternoon
session during the prescribed timings.
22. PARENTS WHO ARE DESIROUS TO MEET THE
PRINCIPAL MAY CALL ON SO BETWEEN 03.00 P.M. and 04.30 P.M.
23. All correspondence should be addressed to
the Principal.
24. Parents of KG Classes should produce
Identity Card whenever they take their children from the school.
The students are gauged by their performance in their examinations and internal assessments. Emphasis is also placed on their completion of their assignments and projects. We expect the parents to involve themselves in encouraging and ensuring that their wards study well. When required the parents will be requested to meet the teachers if it is felt that further improvement is required from the children.
The promotions are based on their submission of assignments, projects and their performance in the class tests and examinations. We believe that the student should do well through the year.
